Project Spotlight

Mecca,

Mornington.

For project Mecca (Mornington), Resair undertook a complex architecturally approved Design & Construct Package to deliver a tailored air conditioning and ventilation system that met both performance and aesthetic requirements. This project was particularly challenging due to the need to route infrastructure to the existing rooftop mechanical plant through areas occupied by other businesses, requiring meticulous planning and coordination.

The design specified the use of exposed ductwork, transforming what is typically a concealed element into a central feature of the interior aesthetics. This approach required careful consideration to ensure that the ductwork not only served its primary function of delivering efficient airflow but also contributed to the overall visual harmony of the space. The exposed ducts had to be precisely aligned and finished to blend seamlessly with the architectural style, making them a deliberate and attractive part of the design rather than an afterthought. Our team collaborated with engineers and fabricators to craft a customized solution that overcame the site’s unique challenges and aligned perfectly with the architect’s vision.
